Glossary
What is Savings Goal?
A target a parent sets with their child, built from an age-matched template or a custom amount, that tasks can pay toward.
Only parents create savings goals, either from an age-matched template or by setting a custom one. Children cannot create a goal or attach tasks to any goal, including their own.
A parent decides which tasks pay toward a goal and how much of each approved reward goes there. The child sees the goal's progress grow as tasks are approved.

Savings Goal vs Gold SIP
A savings goal is a target built from specific tasks a parent attaches to it. A gold SIP is unrelated to any goal or task: it's a standing purchase on its own schedule.
Frequently asked questions
Can a child set their own savings goal?
No. Goals are created by a parent, from a template or a custom amount.
Can a child add a task to a goal?
No. Only a parent attaches a task to a goal.
Does every task have to go toward a goal?
No. A parent decides whether a task's reward counts toward a goal, and how much of it does.
Can there be more than one savings goal at a time?
Goals are set per child by the parent, from a template or custom amount, so a family can run more than one over time.
